BENNINGTON -- A Bennington woman pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Bennington District Court to a felony charge of forging a label on a prescription bottle.

Police said on May 30, Janet Henry, 63, of Park Street attempted to fill one prescription of morphine and one prescription of oxycodone at The Pharmacy in Bennington. Police said she also attempted to fill two empty vials of suboxone. Police said a pharmacist refused to fill both the narcotics and the suboxone. Henry was allowed to fill the narcotic prescriptions.

Police said Henry had tried to transfer the suboxone through Fletcher Allen Outpatient, but was refused there as well.

Police said that after investigating Henry’s original prescription from the Brattleboro Retreat, they found that the originals had "VOID" stamped on them and that the ones she presented at The Pharmacy had been tampered with.

Police said Henry changed her story multiple times when questioned about the prescriptions.

lol not too bright trying to get OC's and boxies on the same pill run though =p If I was that pharmacist I'd be pissed at the doctors who wrote the conflicting scripts that could have hurt the old lady and would be making calls.
