I havent posted for a while due to my life latley consisted of alcohol filled days and shitty drug use like tramacet/tylenol 3-4s.

What do you recommend for preventing/limiting liver damage from alchol, paracetamol, benzos so on?

I know of Milk Thistle and I've been taking it for a few months now though I cannot attest to the results since I pussy out at the sight of a needle and havent taken a blood test in years.

A buddy recommend to me I try NAC but I think that's a chemical in either case can anyone point me out in the right direction or share your experiences?

Thanks!

^Realistically, this is a healthy living thread, but since we have a lot more traffic in this forum, I'm gonna leave it here for a little bit and see what happens, because liver health and drug-use go hand in hand...

I would also be interested to know this. On the topic of Milk Thistle for drug users, I am sure i read somewhere that they inhibit some enzymes that effect the breakdown of certain drugs and therefore can cause unexpected effects with some substances?

Is there any truth to this or am i being paranoid again and can start taking this again daily no matter what else I am on? If i remember correctly it can increase the potency of Kratom and therefore other things? Soz if this is a hickack, just making sure this liver tonic is safe with all rec drugs?

Besides MT for liver, I like the overall detox type supplements and habits like Spirulina and Chlorella to assist as well, not sure its know for assisting the liver directly but any type of general detox assistance should assist the liver indirectly right?

NAC, a healthy diet/life style, don't get hepatitis (get the hep b vaccine if you're in danger of being exposed) and regular blood tests of liver enzymes to know where you're at. The good news is that the liver has amazing regenerative capacity and unless you did very serious damage it'll bounce back.

And I don't think most benzos are particularly liver toxic.
