Salutations! =D

I am Ian, aka the ONI emcee. Long time thinker and free spirit. I am an emcee in a conscious hip hop project called Labels are Limits. I'm here for the same reason everyone should be... to learn! Ignorance is not bliss, and often it can mean the difference between a "glowing experience" and a trip to the ER (or worse). I believe that by exploring ourselves and the world around us without fear we just might not destroy ourselves before we have a chance to get to the good stuff.

As ol' Frank said, "A drug is not bad. A drug is a chemical compound. The problem comes in when people who take drugs treat them like a license to behave like an asshole. "

Thanks, and well met!

I have been prowling the forums like a ravenous beast, consuming the vast expanse of information at an almost alarming rate. I feel -very- at home here, and after my first (very unfortunate and almost traumatic) experience with DOC the other day I am happy to say this beautiful place saved me from almost giving up my psychedelic quests altogether.

I believe it's all in what you make of it, but I have never felt such absolute fear, evil, and hopelessness as last weekend on DOC. I'll stick to my Hoffman glasses...

I checked out that track on your myspace! You have skills bro!

Keep us updated when you upload more stuff online :)

Welcome...

Thanks so much guys! Actually, I am moving to Atlanta this weekend so the music project has a better base of operations... I'm posting some new tunes tonight so I'll make sure and drop some samples :)

We are locking ourselves in a small, windowless room for about a month to record all the vocals for the 15 new songs we have. Luckily since we are a live electronics group with guitars and whatnot a few of the songs don't have vocals and will sound pretty much the same on stage as on the stereo. Our producer/vocalist Dan just whipped up a new dubstep/jungle tune called "MYSTEREO" which sounds like two robots battling to the digital death in a haunted house. It's intene.

...and as for DOC, it is DEFINITELY not my first, nor last, choice. It is synthetic evil and I will say, "no thank you sir!" forever from this point. I enjoy the psychedelic experience for a variety of reasons... but for whatever reason this particular compound felt so terrifyingly mechanical I almost didn't mind that it had me vomiting for 16+ hours. I have never felt the need to see an actual doctor, but whoo doggy.... I'll stick to what works. ;)
