Little lamb lost

There is a little lamb,
who is a little lost,
and the shephards are nowhere in sight.

They are away,
drinking and whoring,
they neglect the thing they are supposed to be caring for.

So why take the job?
To just let the lamb roam?
The lamb is lost, and when found consoling it won't help.

So if you take something,
into the duty of care,
look after it in sight, and not a pat on the head now and again.
