Cried little Bobby Joe.
"I can't take no more
I'm starting to snore

But Bobby Joe had to sit and wait
His face grew red with anger and hate
Mrs. Laffy took notice and told him to settle down
But Bobby Joe seemed hypnotized to watch the clock spin 'round.
So he rustled and tussled
and fussed about in his seat,
He disrupted his classmates
and turned in his work incomplete.
So as the day grew on and the kids packed up to leave
Mrs. Laffy pulled Bobby Joe aside, with something up her sleeve
"You talked up a storm
You disrupted the class
You ignored my warn
You did not finish one task!"
So Mrs. Laffy handed Bobby Joe the chalk
Then stood patiently staring at the clock
The bell struck three and the kids ran outside
But Bobby Joe stayed to write
"With the class rules I will abide."
