I've been taking Lithium for about a week now and I just picked up some pills for new years tomorrow. I didn't even think about interactions when I took my last dose tonight. If I skip the doses tomorrow morning and night, will my NYE roll be okay? I have not even had a chance to get my levels tested yet... But even so, is one day without it even worth rolling or should I save the pills for when I have more time off the lithium???

There are very few positive stories about this combination - your taking lithium for a reason. Taking MDMA will probably only make those problems worse / skipping your Lithium will only make those problems worse.

I really don’t know how lithium works (or what other meds your mixing it with) but it plays around with your serotonin levels/synthesis and is not something you want to be mixing (or having in your system) when you take MDMA.

If you can come off your lithium with no problems (just to roll) then you wouldnt be taking it in the first place. Its not normally the first drug that a doctor would perscribe for problems (BiPolar etc).

Thanks for all the warnings of the damage it might do... But what I really want to know is will I feel it?

So basically you dont care if it will make your problems worse just if you will roll ?

You will feel some effects from the MDMA - how your brain and nervous system copes with it is another thing and is your choice to make.

The lithium messes about with the part of the brain that regulates the seratonin levels - MDMA increases the amount of seratonin your body releases.

It is IMHO a stupid and dangerous combination to take and your simply inviting problems.

Sorry for closing this thread a bit too quickly before - its your life afterall.
