I was wondering if anyone had information on how long Lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse) can be stored while retaining its potency?

I had some stored in a regular plastic prescription bottle in a dark area for about a year and a half. They were in their bottle sitting out on the kitchen table for about half a year. Always kept between 65-80F.

I was wondering if they should theoretically still have their original potency?

So to sum it up, Lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse) stored in a dark area, in the plastic prescription bottle with temperatures between 65-80F for 2 years... Are they still as strong?

*Links to any documentation would be a plus! I haven't found much using Google.

They should be fine, that's the temp. medication ought to be stored at.

I don't have any sources, only experience.

I was assuming they would be good still, the only reason I'm asking is they just don't seem quite as powerful as when I took them 2 years ago, but it could very well be in my head. I have read many prescription drugs can still maintain their potency and effectiveness for up to 15 years. Since Lisdexamfetamine is a pro-drug of Lysine and Dextroamphetamine, I didn't know if it would be more prone to break down as it ages.

It could be minimally degraded, but I would think that it still retains most of it's potency.
