Liquid morphine in syringe

I have 2 syringes of morphine leftover from my grandmother's passing last year. I'm not to keen on injecting anything, but wondering if taking it orally is an effective alternative. I've been reading about dosage and from what I can gather 15ml orally is a safe place to start. I'm an experienced user in my early 30s, 6'4"-250 lbs. I've recently been experiencing extreme back pain from a work injury a few weeks back. I don't have health insurance currently so I'm looking at this as a way to temporarily alleviate said pain. Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.

Morphine liquid comes in different strengths. Morphine liquid also goes off rapidly.

15 ml is not a starting dose of liquid morphine, particularly not for those with no toleranxe. Experience and tolerance are two entirely different things, with a crucial distinction. Even at the weaker strengths of concentration, if this morphine was 10 milligrams of morphine per 5 mls of liquid, that would make the dose you propose 30 milligrams orally, bearing in mind that the liquid is not slow release.

Even a doctor would not start you at 15 ml liquid off the bat, more like 2.5 ml. Morphine liquid is strong stuff, it is safer to start small and make sure someone is with you that can call for help if needed. You should also be very careful about leaving sufficient time before redosing, due to the risks of respiratory depression/arresting.

As an experienced user, you should know or be prepared to research in advance, the minimum time between dosing.
