Hello.

I'm up to making a solution of 5-MeO-MiPT, as it is a tryptamine I find to be better disolving it in some pure alcohol. I have pure isopropyil alcohol but I'm still concerned about the reliability of this method since I'm planing to do a long term storage. I've searched the forum and internet but I have not found concrete info about this, so I'm asking. If anyone could tell me if this is a good method, I'd really appreciate.

Will I lose my moxy? If I leave it in a glass/plastic container that will fill up with air as I get the solution out of it, will the air (oxygen and contaminants) degrade moxy?

Thanks!

Why not use vodka (or something else with ethanol) instead? You don't want to be ingesting isopropyl alcohol.

For long-term storage, it's better to just leave it in dry powder form in a glass vial. Alcohol will evaporate over time and increase the concentration of your solution, making an overdose more likely.

I prefer isopropyl alcohol because it is 99% pure, while vodka has water which may react with the moxy. And if I keep the solution in a sealed vial, how would the isopropyl alcohol evaporate?

I've thought of how to combat this problem with evaporation.

Say you have 1ml of solution and you dose with .1mls, you'll have .9ml left over. The next time you go to dose, just measure to see exactly how much is left, if you find out there is only .85mls now then you have to adjust your dose accordingly, or you could even just add another .05ml of solvent to the mix to 'top it up.' This can of course be scaled up as large as you want, and a larger ratio of solvent:solute of course diminishes the worry of evaporation leading to a much smaller inconsistency in doses

This of course requires meticulous documentation of what you have.. which I don't think should be an issue.
