Limbs falling asleep while on a form of amphetamine?

Does this happen to anyone else? Is it normal? I dont know I would think a limb falling asleep while you are on amphetamine wouldnt really happen, because amphetamine raises your blood pressure... And like having your leg fall asleep is lack of cirrculation... hm.
 
dude, the same thing has happened to me the last two times I got all tweaked out! And it really flipped me out! Everything was fine all the way through, until right before I started to come down. Then all of a sudden, my hands went numb, and then my upper thighs started to go numb. Needless to say that I started to freak out, because I've always heard that your limbs go numb when you are about to have a heart attack! But after about an hour of pacing around my house, smoking cigarettes, and calling my boss for moral support...I was fine. It was rough though... But I have to wonder, what causes this? I told my friends what had happened to me, and they looked at me like I was crazy. I was even told that maybe I shouldn't touch the crystal anymore...and unfortunately, I might have to agree with them...
 
ok, did a google search on "vasoconstriction", and "vasoconstriction and amphetamines". Basically, from what I read, vasoconstriction is just what it sounds like: the tightening of the blood vessels. Most of the sites didn't go into much detail on exactly what this could lead to, but I did find a site that said that if this were to happen to the blood vessels leading to your brain, you may suffer a stroke. And that would just not be cool. So should hands and legs "falling asleep" be taken as a warning sign to stay away from aphetamines? Including ecstasy?
 
Is it "falling asleep" or numbness, or both?
Although i do have poor cirrculation and low blood pressure normally, so im not sure what to take as a warning sign...
