Hey I been reading and people recommend different light cycles I don't get it which is better right now i have it on 24 hours what is better? I am using cfl's.

Just keep it on 24 through veg... or you can put it on 18 if you're worried about power. I prefer 24 for seedlings and clones 18 for mothers and 12 for flowering... you can play with lighting a lot but I would just stick to 18 to 24

Ok Hey I got another question If anyone know's. The soil I am using is really shitty is there anything i can add to make the plant more healthy? I heard milk coffe and other stuff.

if you will be needing to transfer it into a bigger pot as it gets bigger, just make sure that the new pot will be filled with quality soil.

^ Yea that is what I am planning to do. I am looking for good soil so I can start more seeds.

Just get some compost at a garden centre, bat guano is the organic super bloom if you want something stronger though. IMO anything more than 18h light gives diminishing returns.

I am in eastern europe I am not sure if they are avalibale here. So you are saying 18 hours of light is better?

It depends on how energy efficient you want to be. 24h gives more growth overall, but the best yield/power ratio is achieved at 18h.

24 hours is better for the growth siide of veggin...but 18/6 is just as good in my opinion.

18/6 is better for your wallet.

then 12/12 for flowering.

if you're on a budget - steep a bucketful of stinging nettles/comfrey in water for 2-3 weeks and keep it covered (anaerobic respiration) - then use this as fertilizer 1:10 parts nettle & water respectively in veg, and 1:8 in flowering. Great organic plant food.

peace
