That minute or two, right after putting the bedside light out, when I can roll over onto my side, snuggle into my pillow and sheet (I almost never sleep with a blanket--too warm, although I love the huggy sensation I get from a nice comforter), and exhale a deep sigh; knowing that I have no further responsibilities, and am finally free once again, to sleep.
Then hypnagogia takes hold, and I know no more.
