sharing your bed with someone
looking into someone's eyes and knowing you understand each other
making a tasty meal from scratch

i think music is life's simplest pleasure

^Funny, I was thinking about my lavender bushes today- they're coming back this year?
They are perennials but sometimes hard winters kill them :)
I was also thinking about the cloudy windy days............

-Grey days. the PNW gets so much slack for rain, and we actually don't get as much as they say- but we do spend most of our winter grey........and I love it.
I love standing in the yard with the wind blowing and grey skies <3
I miss my best friend who would enjoy it equally as much as me. But I still enjoy them.

-The sound of the tide going back out and making music on the stones.
-When a boat goes by and sends big waves in :)
-Collecting stones

(that Hyacinth bulb, in that sad little pot is growing again also, while sitting in the shadows by the "xmas cactus" ((which has gone bonkers)) - ive been giving it attention and is responding.,, everyone except the big climber and wisteria got feed well yesterday.
im concentrating on the Isis, Wisteria and tangled climbing Rose, multiplying the Lavender, and perfume Roses this year...)
... gardening; not so simple - haha -

but, very rewarding in the simplest ways i suppose.

I've been dating this girl for a week, this Friday night we made our own channel on pandora, sat on my couch and made out for two hours. No sex, no undressing, just kissing for two hours. <3

Something we can all take positivity in

I am new to this forum, but have lurked along time but right now its providing me with support you wouldn't believe

This thread may have been done before so please feel free to delete/merge/ridicule as you please

But when your really down and think there is no reason to keep on going what individual moment of beauty makes you realise life is worth while

For me it's music, i hear a single note of a piece of music that means something to me, isolate its beauty and realise its eternity and for me that can sometimes be enough to bring a brief smile to my face, that smile no mattter how brief can be vital

Certain chord progressions within music can give such a positive emtional boost.

If god taped me on the shoulder and said - for your sins, I'm sorry but your gonna have to choose between being made blind or deaf - I would probably choose blind. But hey I am off my tits at the mo.

Nice description; i would have to agree on the same level. The very moment i hear music, i melt away into the sound and just flow through infinity.. all the elements of life are removed and i realize the beauty that surrounds me.

It has the capability to bring me from the lowest pits of hell to the highest of avenues within moments, if theirs any passion in my life it's music.
