You light the fuse but you don’t explode,
And you wonder why your all burned out,
You need release, but you wont let go,
Loosen your grip and lighten the load.

Life's too tough, it's too hard, too fast,
Thanks for the insight, but it's nothing new,
Everybody and everyone deal with it everyday,
Slow the hell down and realise we are all the same.

I don't need to read your mind to know,
That you have sometimes cried at night,
Guess what, I have been there too,
Don't lie and tell me there is anyone who has not.

Your thoughts are not unique or special,
But don’t let that deflate your false ego,
Let it humble you in realisation,
That you share the load with us all.

This rant is getting overly dramatic and serious
But that was not my aim in the least now was it
Relax and limber up, being tense will not help
I think I have a suitable point to it all

We are in this mess together,
Mixed up in a chaotic soup of life,
Take the time to taste it,
It tastes like chicken.

thanks guys! the feedback really put a smile on my face.
I have been trying to write mostly positive stuff lately... I think the world needs more encouragement and hope, we have neough reminders of how messed up we are allready. Doing it helps me remember to enjoy life and be happy too. :)
 
I would argue that when you combine inventiveness and LSD, that the world tastes like mushrooms, but hey :p

If the only positive influence you make is on yourself, it's still enough :)
