"so in the day that which i wake from my bed; my soul isn't sure if i'll be feeling dead..
so in the time that which i make a lift in my mood; i try very hard not to be subdued by these feelings of a clue to who i've become and where my consciousness is one.
so in the time that which i create a fate; destiny is on it's way.
so in the time that which i play like everything is okay; i know to say to myself "today is just yet another day to pass"
and so when it comes my time and all my loved one's see me in my bed, surrounding the old man soon to be dead; i will not regret." -- life is Like a leaf falling"
This poem was about growing old and deciding to make what time you have left worth it; to cherish living; to accept the darker parts of your life and decide that what is important is making the time you have important to you.
for me regret is a big emotion. i sometimes have to remember to accept it; to let go. and sometimes it's hard to remember that.
i feel like sometimes talking about regret gives you some closure. personally i regret loosing a friend by scaring them through having a mental breakdown and acting foolishly (i ended up triggering their PTSD badly; out of shame and respect to the individuals i think i'll keep what happened between me and those involved
the worst part of it wasn't that i made a fool of myself and embarrassed myself; i lost my best friend.
what do you regret? can you put it into a story, poem, song, picture, or some other form of creative expression? if you find this troublesome; simply share your feelings about what you regret in your life. i know alot of people have regret and i feel like sometimes there needs to be an open discussion about it.
