Sam sat in plastic with his family. 700 strong, a clan of steel sphears. To their rear sat the power that let them live their lives.

As the RDX rushed kinetic power to their lifeless balls, they flew through the air, propelled by the controlled explosion that was their God, their reason for existence.

*clack, clackclack*

After the thunder Sal flew past sam, screaming mad shouts of terror. Sal was Sam's cousin, they were made the same day, and today the lived and died here in the explosion.

Sally flew next to Sam, and they smiled at each other, together in the moment, hot and perfect, together they reflected the bright sun and blue sky above, silent 1,200m/s travel. 1/10 of a second was a life time. Sally and Sam were married, they had a kid. Sam became a manager at the local autowerks, and Sally made a living baking pies for the local restaurants and diners. Sammy Jr, followed the footsteps of his father after going to college.

At the end, Sam was the first hero. As a 3.2mm steal ball barring, Sam crashed through the boys eye like CO2 lasers cut through wood. He rattled around the head of the child, ripping the brain matter, denting the skull.

When his energy was gone, he died with his Sally, they rest for eternity sitting in a pile of scrambled brains and blood, their victims corpse their coffin.

interesting humanization. whenever i see articles about time and it's relation to inertia and gravity i get a chubby so it was pleasurable to read this exaggerating that relationship to enrich a macabre little slice of life. speaking of slice, i didn't understand how claymore relates to pies?
