Hey whats good yall. So ive got a few ?'s about this drug called librium. Never heard of it until today. This guy was offering it to me to buy and this is what he told me:

-its like xanax (same effects w/ helping anxiety, calms ya down)
-its ER i think he said, it lasts all day but its like an all day xanax
-Docs are switching alot of people over from xanax to this because it is an ER

Now im not taking any of this stuff as fact just what he told me and if someone can verify what he said if its true or not that would be great.

Now if this is true then im interested in it but i really don't know anything about it. If anyone has tried it / been prescribed and knows a good bit about it and what other benzo it can compare to please let me know. I do know its just as addictive as xanax or any other benzo.

Also is it the kind of benzo that makes you sleepy? Xanax doesnt do that so if its like bars and im not getting knocked out from it that would be good to know.

Thanks for the replies yall!

Librium's the "original gangsta" of the benzodiazapene family: the very first one to be invented, and still being used after all these years. As far as I knew, it's only used to detox alcoholics these days, so I was surprised to hear that it's being prescribed for other uses, when their are so many other benzos to choose from.

I used high amounts of Librium in alcohol detox myself; they eliminated my WD's, but apart from that I just felt normal.

it's a benzo like xanax but xanax is way stronger and xanax works quicker and stronger which makes it a better panic attack med librium (seldom used for anxiety these days) is a long acting weak benzo 1mg of xanax is similar to 50 to even 100mg of librium
