Opioids levo dromoran a.k.a. Levorphanol

In the 80s I used to get a drug called levo dromoran and it was the best pure opoid I ever did. It seems to be scarcely known about today Does anyone have any experiance with this chemical.

Its drug name is levorphanol.

I used it a lot alternatingly with morphine just before I switched to bupe and later methadone for good. It doesn't have any sort of rush like heroin or morphine. It slowly loads up within ~1 minute when injected and after 5 minutes it gradually spreads its wings. It's got great euphoria, I could nod on it for hours and it's not a weak nod, it's deep as hell. It peaks at 2-3 hours in and it may last even 10-12 hours for all effects to wear off.

But that was purely to feed my addiction. The drug has its potential as an analgesic too. With some additive SERT and NAT inhibiting, sigma agonistic and NMDA blocking actions it has a much wider spectrum for pain management than classic 4,5-epoxymorphinans. It's a shame it was withdrawn. Anyway, it was never available where I live so I couldn't care less personally...

Wasn't anything special IME

I had the chance to try this drug out and while it was definitely an opiate/opiod w/e, I didn't think it was anything special. I had 100% pure pharmaceutical grade powder and snorted it. I didn't have an accurate enough scale so snorted approx 50mg bumps until I was where I wanted to be. Perhaps its not very effective when snorted, or perhaps b/c I spaced out my dose instead of taking a single bulbous dose, or perhaps b/c of the nature of the drug itself, I didn't like it as much as oxy, heroin, morphine, or even hydrocodone....just my opinion
