people come to ADD with non-advanced topics because they want an experts opinion. elsewhere on BL it can be difficult to get a straight intelligent answer. we all know this. perhaps you should sticky an "ASK ADD" thread so that people can ask their dumb questions and get smart answers and anyone here who wishes to contribute to it can, and those who wish to ignore can do that as well. then everyone is happy.
Not agreed!
I understood the concerns of other members (actually, I share them) that the decreased level at ADD is caused mainly by the flood of pointless questions, or "dumb", as you called them. I do not invite even more of them.

I'm not trying to question what threads you want here or not, but looking at the JWH-018 thread that got shipped off to cannabis discussion really makes me wonder why you didn't just close it instead? I totally understand that y'all didn't appreciate the kind of questions getting asked inside of it at times, but look at the content that built up inside of it over a year period regarding epoxide issues, letters from Dr. Huffman and an independent toxicology report. There's no way that kind of discussion will ever happen in CD where it's sitting next to "I drove off with the gas pump still in my car LOL".
Anyway, not trying to tell you how to run things, just wondering what it means for future discussion of similar chemicals. If anything with subjective effects similar to cannabis belongs in cannabis discussion that really kind of means that bluelight isn't going to have such discussions at all.

All joking aside, the real problem with ADD - the reason that it's so boring and ghost-towny - appears to be that those who have a truly deep and advanced understanding of pharmacology are able to answer the majority of their own questions or they don't have questions in the first place, leaving ADD mainly as a place where people like me whine about their problems or ask stupid questions that they could have answered with a quick google search.
I concur. It seems the same people answer any of the questions that get answered here - and few of the people who answer questions are asking each other much.
I don't read Bluelight in a forum-by-forum manner, I just hit New Posts / Subscriptions, so I apologize to the mods if I make non-Advanced threads worse or entertain peoples' stupid questions sometimes.

Replace "move to Other Drugs" with "move to Basic Drug Discussion" and you have a deal. OD doesn't need those questions, and anyway, basic combinations question are for BDD. So please don't move any stupid shit into OD. I say either BDD or delete it.
Now that the OD mods have told you guys to keep the dumb questions out of their forum, has anyone bothered to ask BDD mods what they think of getting all the dumb questions? : P

I hate to disagree with you murphy, because as always, you are my brotha, but I would think that a seperate subforum devoted to non-advanced questions answered by regulars here, or even just a dedicated question answer thread would be a good idea.
This is part of the reason I continue to engage in these threads. It may be something of a coin toss, but the questions I think are being posed 'honestly' after someone has done their research, or if they honestly just don't know how to do that research, I'll generally answer kindly.
It's the other 90% of the threads that are posted by people who should be smart enough to find these answers themselves but don't that annoy me.
It's 11:20p here and from my balcony I can hear someone playing the Star Wars music, but I have no idea from where; I drove through town about 2 hours ago and there wasn't anything going on there. This sounds like a full band is playing.
I'm totally agree with Hammilton on this point.
As far as i've been browsing the question asked in other forums, some people do want opinion from the experts or the knowledgeable ones, but the replies go like "so use more!" or "just take it with etcetcetc" which is not the proper answer the thread starter would like to know.
Well, yeah, I think the "ask the ADD" topic or section might be a good idea. Just no one is expert in every field.
(But the questions those shows how the topic poster that do not UTSE still should be deleted)

Hammilton's stiff resistance
shows me that I made my point not clear as intented. The "dumb" threads that I don't like to see anymore include explicitely:
1. the tpyo-loadn thr3ads
2. topics that were indeed discussed to death and that (...therefore) can be found even by my dead grandma. It is a truth: UTFSE helps occasionally! I won't discuss if one misses a lone thread about some more 'exotic' topic, but questions concerning e.g. JWH-018 dosage, loperamide+pGP-inhibitors etc. bore me nowadays (do we have a vomiting smiley?)
I think, basically we agree more than we contradict.
Except for the above-mentioned examples, I was educated quite tolerant by my beloved mom; quoting her:
Quod esset demonstrandum
There are no stupid questions, but just stupid answers.

So, I made a simple Q&A thread: http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.php?t=430959
And I'm asking the mods about expanding the attachment sizes. We'll see, I guess.
