Surprised a cop would speak out this much like that.

Ex-cop...why didnt he speak up about this during his MANY years of "serving"? Why isn't that something this kind, introspective, amazing smart being hasn't willingly answered..
What difference does it make now that he resigned in 2000! It does make an impact..i say impact. If he would have had balls to say it has CHEIF it would have been something.
Just because an EX police officer..who 'was' a DICK turned "nice" (compasionate with homour..as he puts it)has written a book and received media attention...It isn't like this is NEW..its been said for a long time..we dont need this old fart who is sitting his ass on a secluded mountain side collecting $$$ to help w/ the war on drugs, i believed he has helped enough. Really what in the world is he going to do? He will NOT pursue this any further than walking to the end of his drive way to open the mailbox and grab his envelopes. He uses this 1ST! book as a way to introduce his fiction books!

Anyways this is really why i wanted to post:

If each person DID something rather than sit around saying "yeah, yeah, man..man well put..couldn't have said it better myself" duh
Think about it.

Why heroin, cocaine, and meth?

Those are among the biggest moneymakers for international organized crime. I mean, I don't have anything to back that up with but...well it's safe to say producers/traffickers/dealers make mad profit off of hard drugs. It'd be silly to legalize everything except those, and leave all that money to the black market. I don't mean to downplay the massive win that legalizing other drugs would be for civil liberties, I'm just saying why take a slice when you can take the whole fucking pie?

Heroin can be taken everyday of your life without causing any damage to the body. In a maintainance env people wouldn't steal for it, and crime would drop substantially
