... and there was light.

I've lurked for years and have always found this site to be nothing but interesting.

I've immersed myself in drugs since I was young. Even when I was diligently sober, drugs were still a central subject of discussion and thought. Within the past five or so years, my interest has mainly laid in opiates, research chemicals, organic chemistry, and the relationships between drugs and the way people use/perceive them.

While I've been a fairly regular user or opiates, amphetamines, alcohol, and cannabis over the course of the last several years, I have never found myself to be physically addicted to any of these substances. I have managed to keep my opiate use to a month-on and month-off program but the fact that I've never had drug problems concerns me a little.

Today I will join in the discussion that has kept me informed, safe, and (fairly) sound.

Welcome to Bluelight slvr :)

Sounds like you have your head screwed on properly! You'll like it here....

Piper at the gates of dawn is a truly psychedelic album. I'd generally endorse most of their stuff, though.

^^^I think that Saucerful gets a bad wrap....while Piper is their Psychedelic masterpiece, songs like See-Saw, Remember a day, and Let there be more light make it a worthy psychedelic companion.
