Ive been working construstion for 6 years now. Threw my back out about a year ago, and now sometimes if i lift something thats too heavy or pick something up wrong i have a sharp pain in my lower back. I used to take Bayer for the 1-3 times a week it would happen. Eventually the bayer stopped working, so a friend of mine gave me a percoset to take next time it happened. i took it today and it greatly helped the pain in my back. My question is do i just be straight with the doctor and tell her that i was taking the bayer and it stopped working so a friend gave me a percoset which worked great? or do i just go in and telll her whats up with my occaional back pain and hope she gives me something?

Sorry but its against the rules to ask us what to say to your doctor please read the BLUA you agreed to when registering.

If you're seeking legitimate medication for legitimate pain then you should have no problem. Tell the doctor what you just told us and they will make a professional decision.
