Legality of testing kits

Its legal to own a testing kit in the UK but not legal to use it. SO what if youre house were to get raided and they found a testing kit that had been opened and therefor used? Where would you stand with regards to the law?
What sort of fine/sentence could you expect for possesing less then 10 pills on your property for personal use? Again in the UK?

bigcol, as I understand using them is fine as long as your not using it on an illegal subtance. However your questions are very legal based so this might better be asked in the Legal forum.
 
One thing.. You are on the honeymoon period.. Every pill seems AWESOME. Just don't abuse that. i.e space out your pill sessions so the honeymoon lasts forever. You don't want to realise one day, the last month's usuage of 10-20 pills just didn't give you any loved up feelings (and it does happen to a lot of mdxx abusers).
And if you haven't, be sure to read all the faqs regarding the various substances you wish to have :)

Test Kits are legal, they do NOT contain any controlled substances. Vendors would be out of business already a long time ago if they were illegal.
There are other issues though.
The 9-11 attackts have had an impact on laws concerning dangerous goods. Some shipments to the USA have been stopped for reasons that previously did not exist.
It was hard to figure out but it seems that adding an invoice with a description of the goods is sufficient.
Australia is something else. Apparently, a postal law has changed and, as far as we understand, it has become difficult to legally mail testkits to Australia.
We are working on a solution for Australia.
Mailing to the UK is perfectly fine, we never experienced any mail troubles.
Also, we never got any reports of people getting into trouble because they own a testkit.

Any idea on when that solution for Australia will happen AJ as i am still waiting for my kit and havent heard any more about what is happening since i got the email a few weeks ago saying something was being worked out.
