Does anyone know about the legal status of importing 1,3-dimethylamylamine into Australia? Its one of the ingredients in the Ergopharm AMP supplement, but I am asking specifically about importing just the powdered dimethylamylamine. I have heard mixed reviews about it, some saying it has some euphoria and energy to it, others saying they got very little stimulation. Has anyone tried the powder?

I ordered some of it about a year ago and got it no problems. I can't say I'm that impressed by it. A little stimulation but puts me more on edge than anything, like having too much coffee? If you do get some be careful with dosage; the recommended dose is like 25mg I believe?

Ergopharm AMP also have chocoamine and a hefty amount of caffeine in them by the way.

Ergopharm have released AMP2, these are the new ingredients they've added:

The original Ergopharm AMP set a new standard for fat loss and energy with the introduction of the proprietary compound Geranamine™. With AMP2 you get the now legendary power of the Geranamine & Caffeine combo stacked alongside these seven new fat burning powerhouses.
Evodiamine, Zingerone, and Raspberry ketone

These three compounds all belong to the same class of compounds known as vanilloid receptor agonists. They work by enhancing the release and potentiating the action of norepinephrine, also known as adrenaline. Scientific studies have shown that these compounds increase energy expenditure and promote the loss of body fat.
Green Coffee Extract

Green Coffee Bean Extract is abundant in polyphenols and is known to be one of the richest sources of anti-oxidants available. One of the polyphenols is called chlorogenic acid and it has been shown to enhance the burning of fat for energy in the liver.
Kaempferol

This flavonoid was recently discovered to increase muscle cell oxygen consumption through dramatically increasing cyclic AMP levels as well as up-regulating the level of T3-deiodinase and extending the half-life of triiodothyronine (T3).
Coleus Forskohlii Extract

Forskolin is a chemical found in Coleus Forskohlii extract. It activates the enzyme adenylyl cyclase, which increases production of the cellular messenger cyclic AMP. Cyclic AMP is an integral part of the lipolytic signaling pathway for norepinephrine.
Fursultiamine

Thiamine is one of the most important vitamins for carbohydrate and fat metabolism but it suffers from poor bioavailability. That is why easily absorbed thiamine pro-drugs were developed and fursultiamine is the most effective of them all. Cellular ATP production in muscles and the brain are greatly enhanced with fursultiamine, and it has been shown to improve exercise performance and reduce muscle fatigue. Fursultiamine is also known to reduce or eliminate the accelerated heartbeat that often accompanies the use of stimulants such as ephedrine.

I'm going to assume that fursultiamine is similar to sulbutiamine, these thiamine analogs seem to be the rage.

Don't think its illigal, I bought some powder in about 2 years ago. I found it to be without effect really and this was from a reputable site.

Apperently with caffine its a different matter. Dunno I had about 200mg in one go and I figure if you don't get something clear, then its either dud or crap.

please help failed drugs test methylhexaneamine found

I am writing to ask anyone's on the forums help as I am a professional sportsman recently failed a drugs test (WADA) having found methylhexaneamine in my system.

I have absolutely no knowledge in how it got there and wondered if anyone at all knows of anything that may have consumed to have it?

I have used USN Xdra cut xt (for fat burner) and pro plus tablets prior to the match in question.

I also regularly take lucozade sports drinks, sports bars, energy bars but only from likes of asda etc.

Any help at all in anything containing methylhemaneamine would be most helpful before my trial on Thursday.

Thanks

Yeah i know, it really is a total nightmare situation. From this list does anyone know of anything that looks remotely like an ingredient could be methylhexanaemine or the other names it goes by ie geranium plant extract?

Sorry to pester you guys but this is going to blow up and I'm just trying to get it resolved before it does so.

Thanks

it is most likely a hidden ingredient, this is common with fat burners in australia, more than people think i have seen chinese vendors spamming on body building and nutritional supplements forums saying free samples available about a year ago emailed them to ask if they had anything interesting, got into a discussion about DMAA/methylhexaneamine and he said they send to australian supplement and weight loss companies all the time.

I figure it isnt listed so it can be sold without the TGA disapproving it due to them being interested in banning it a couple of years ago and even seizing come party pills contaning it

i cannot think of other names it could be listed as but geranium oil/plant extract, DMAA, 1,3-dimethylamylamine or methylhexaneamine.......?
Too bad you cant give them the bottle and get it tested somehow to see if it is that fat burner that contains it

finished the last tablet from that specific bottle last month so none left to test. unless buy new tablets and hope they contaminated also.

got to be that too but because all finished stumped!

Speaking of importing shit, what's the status of mephedrine? CBF looking up the old threads, so if someone with the knowledge could please tell me the status of importing mephedrine I'd greatly appy-preciate it :)

Sorry to hear that jan1. There have been some pretty high-profile cases similar to yours recently. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do about it as far as I know. As mentioned it's in a ton of fat-loss products as well as pre-workout supplements like jack3d etc.

It could be listed on products as any number of things including: 1,3-dimethylamylamine, 1,3-dimethylpentylamine, methylhexaneamine, geranamine (or geranium extract), etc. Also beware anything with "proprietary matrix" in the ingredients.
