Opioids LDN With Oxycodone: Can Timing Make This Work?

Hi. I just started my LDN regiment and of course get a huge flare up of pain from overtime at work. My LDN dose is only 1.5 MG x 1/day right now. I understand that LDN (antagonist) with oxycodone (agonist) will cancel each other out and maybe cause some undesired side effects, so I'm really, really trying to avoid my oxycodone PRN.

I read that opioids can work OK so as long as LDN was taken a few hours or longer ago. Is there any truth to this?
