Heroin Lazy Eye (While High) After IVing Heroin???

So this is kinda freaking me out a bit and I completely forgot about it until last night and today.


I don't think it happens EVERY time, or maybe it just doesn't happen when I am with someone or around others, conversing n what not. Maybe just when iI am on the computer or playing a video game... But I noticed that I have a lazy eye from IVing heroin.. I never had this before from anything else, even heroin when insufflated.


It's bugging me out because A. Well.. it's a god damn lazy eye and I don't know why it happens. B. I will be with my whole family and more today/tonight since it is Easter and I don't want to be around everyone and have a lazy eye and they notice . It would be both embarrassing and odd since I don't have one and never have.


Am I the only one that this happens to? Is this a normal thing when IVing opiates ? If so then why is this happening and is there anything I can do so it doesn't happen and my family doesn't see it?

It's just bizarre, it goes away when I;m not high and isn't EVERY time and my eyes are fine cuz I had just went to the eye doctor the other week and said everything is perfect, nothing wrong, I wear contacts btw.
 
Same thing happens to the G/F, she took some liver test and does not metabolize opiates normally, it wasnt related to this but i wonder if thats what causes it in her. Maybe because her liver lacks some enzyme it makes weird side effects, at least thats what i thought.

We can not figure out why she gets one when she gets really high, like the laziness of the eye is directly proportional to how high she is. Its strange and it bothers the shit out of me, i dont think that can be good and i fear if we keep going down this path it might damage her optical muscle eventually. Think about it having a lazy eye when on heroin as a heroin addict means lots of lazy eye, that can not be good for the muscles.

Oh i can not wait to tell her this came up and some random person i responded to on BL has it too, maybe she wont feel so bad about it. Bad news is it doesnt just stop happening this is year 2 of heroin induced lazy eyes for her. Like you said its not all the time but we do aim to get really high like once a day :(
 
I get a lazy eye too. My left eye gets lazy when high on h. I noticed it while brushing my teeth and looking up in the mirror to make sure I didn't have tooth paste on my face. Looked up and my left eye was still looking down. My eye was always lazy when I used h.
 
Sure this is how my mom sees I have been using.

P.S it appeared over time and is indeed proportionate to how high I am , I think the body adapts to opiates and developes different responses , just like allergies do.
 
Yep. Kinda gotta live with it, or find a different DOC.
My eye(s) will drift outwards when I'm completely blasted.
My true "tell" and how my family started busting me, is that I tend to talk with my eyes closed when I've done a shot. Annoying.
