Lawmakers concerned salvia could become the next marijuana [updated: illegal in FL]

I have no idea how you could compare Salvia to Marijuana. I can't see it becoming that widespread, especially since it scares the shit out of most people that do it. There are so many differences between the two I don't even know where to start

I think if one of the two should be illegal, it would be salvia. Not that I think either of them should -- but salvia being legal while pot is illegal is just goddamn stupid.
 
Agreed. The first time I did salvia I thought it was just like pot (mostly because I didn't do it right) and I got the shit scared out of me the second time heres my trip report on it http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.php?t=370332 I think people should learn more about the drug before they rush to ban it. Yes it screws up your judgement and can be VERY dangerous while taken in a bad enviornment IE while driving, but so does alcohol which while being not nearly as intense as salvia, causes alot more hospital visits. What we need in this country is good solid facts not another Reffer Madness

Stupid, because YOU don't enjoy it? I don't "enjoy" it like a good roll or smoke session, but salvia has some very deep uses for me. It's very introspective and I love talking with others about the experiences. Some are funny, some are dark, but I have never, EVER, "flipped out" and been in danger.

Don't be an asshole, because you don't like it. Don't try and take away MY right to enjoy it.

You're are a complete and utter moron for thinking like that....

He's exactly what I'd expect from a benzo-head.

And the best way to become a benzo-head is to get scripts for them from psychs that you're probably seeing for legitimate reasons.
 
I watched a group doing Salvia at an event early Sunday morning. My state of mind wasn't all that great at the time but seeing the looks on faces after they inhaled that stuff. Wow. Not for me. I'm in no way stable enough for a trip like that.

But whatever. Another stupid law passes. Why are we surprised?
