Not sure- was in Spain 3 months ago, and dudes are trying to sell "Molly" powder all over the place. I imagine if its being sold openly in broad daylight the laws arent severe, but you'd be best off Google searching it.
 
In Ibiza (Spain) few of us got caught with a 3, 2 and 3 pills each, 3 of us, got thrown into the cell, each of us got a pretty good kicking, mainly because we were trying to climb out the cell window, but they beat up my other mate who was in the cell next door doing nothing wrong.

Anyway released the next day, bout 8 hours or so in the cell, police came to the hotel next day, took us to court, cant remember what they gave us as we were took fucked, and we were released without charge I think, no further action taken. So personal amounts they arent going to charge you or anything like that, just look forward to a cell for a short while or something and a quick court appearance.

im pretty sure wherever you go police will just lock you up for a bit, give you a caution and let you go. only in strict places would they take any further action against personal, UAB, china or something i dunno im not a lawyer so dont quote me on it

I live in Barcelona and the police would never beat you up if you got caught with a few E's unless you resist arrest. I think the most would be getting taken to a cell, but most likely they would just take them and slap you on the wrist. At least that's the case with hash and weed, but obviously they're of a lower class :/
To be fair the police in Ibiza is corrupt like nowhere else in Spain. They turn a blind eye to the drug trade during the summer because they know that without it Ibiza would be toast, and I don't think they want to fuck with the various mafias that control the drugs and clubs either.
 
Yeah exactly, they turn a blind eye to higher powers who trade drugs, they ignore it all through the summer, then at the end they make a few busts, just to show they are doing there job.

The money ibiza makes is stupid, it said in summer, ibiza consumed 40,000+ pills every day, also they have like 1 police boat that patrolls the island, and theyve not caught anyone by boat in the past few years lol. Ibiza is a free drugs trade, probally one of the easiest places to import drugs to. :)

Last 3 encounters Ive had with ibiza police, twice I got beaten up and the third I bribed. The second time when we were trying to help a friend with a neck wound, police turned up thought we were the attackers and beat the fuking shit out of about 4 of us with there batons, chased my friend down the street and ended up with a broken wrist.

I wouldn't say so. I have multiple friends (all big fans of MDMA) who've been to Ibiza multiple times and they did not have problems with LEO or with finding good drugs.

In my experience, LEO in europe are usually pretty laid back about recreational amounts of MDMA. In most of Western Europe, they'll probably just take it away and tell you not to do it again. In most of Eastern Europe, you can just bribe the cops and they might even let you keep your drugs. There are a few exceptions though - I've heard that France and parts of Scandinavia can be tough on drugs. Of course nothing like the inbred cowboy-type cops that populate 95% of the US, but that's largely an exception for the western world.

EDIT: I don't like generalizing, but some people from the UK can act pretty aggressive when they are fucked up in other countries - this might explain the guy's 'adventures'.
 
Last year in Ibiza the Gardia were really cracking down on the open dealing - I saw several dealers getting arrested along the sea front in San Antonio. Mind you the amount of dealers is either amazing/disgusting depending on your view (amazing for me :D) - I was approached and offered the usual suspects within a few moments of leaving my hotel.

I had some of the nicest MDMA in a long time bought from a guy who was selling sunglasses to the unsuspecting tourists ;)

I assure you no one was being aggressive lol im not sure it was even possible on MDMA, just saying the police in ibiza take no shit and they do what they want. Probally different to the rest of spain, because they have to deal with it every year and british do give us a bad name, the ones that go drinking in the west end etc and start fights, they think we are all the same, so get treated all the same.

Walking in a large crowd of about 50 spanish on the way to cocoon @ amnesia, police come through the spanish and ask to search us, there a reason they dont like us lol

Yeah - one night spent drinking in the West End will show you why the Spanish Police hate the Brits 8o. I had a great laugh but it was like any UK City Center on a Saturday night, every night of the week.
 
Reality

This is one thing that is happening right now.... My friend was caught in 2004 selling a few (3) in a night club in Ibiza. Also he was thrown in jail for the night and had the court case the day after and thought all was over when they wished him a nice further holiday and gave him a fine. Last year whilst going on holiday to spain he was picked up because it turned out that the case wasn't closed but put on a big pile and when they got to his case a year later they send a letter to the Hotel he stayed whilst on holiday to reappear back in case. Obviously he never got that letter so they had to wait for him to enter the country again one day. Now he was summoned to come to court and has been sentenced to 3 years in prison. he is now trying to fight it in a higher appeal... So please don't think they are easy or that you got away with things cause that might not be the case!!!
