So I got a hold of some rock sass and was wondering if anyone else had had any experience with this. It looks like rock salt, but smells like sass and has a really dark color to it.

"Sass"afrass is a tree that contains the essential oil Safrole. Safrole is use in the production of MDMA, and goes through a long process of chemical reactions to get there. Typically "Sass" is quite impure MDMA, with the cook being some backyard chemist who was too lazy to wash his crystal and get it to the white color it should be.
However many other chemicals can come in forms that look like "rock salt" and can be varying colors as well, so it may not even be MDMA at all. A reagent testing kit is required to determine if you have good MDMA or shitty bath salts.

if it's purple it's because it's smuggled over from europe/amsterdam dissolved in wine bottles and the wine stains the crystals.

Unfortunately no one is going to be able to find out what it is that you have besides yourself. And to do so you'll need to equip yourself with the proper testing tools. It will always be worth it to invest in a kit, believe me.
