Heroin Last try, before naltrexone. Opinion

i know, it's not supposed to give each other medical advice. But i would like an opinion.
I Have my last meds, that are 2 8mg subutex pills, 10 clonidine pills and 20 1mg pillls of benzo.
I will take naltrexone after this detox from heroin
So, what do you think about this plan?
Day one: 8 mg of Subutex
Day 2: 4 mg of subutex
day 3: 4 mg os subutex
day 4: 3 pills of clonidine and 4/5 of benzos
day 5: same as day 4
day 6: 3 times half a pill of clonidine 3 benzo
day 7: same as day 6

I think it's enough. I was also thinking of starting clonidine at day 3 instead of taking subutex.
At day 7 r 8 i will test urine for opium to star naltrexone.

I'd honestly do a slow short taper won't leave you in too much pain. I think if you draw the taper out it would help more, as going from 4mg sub to cold turkey is going to leave you miserable even with the benzo and clon. I'd also not try to take the subs, until you really cant hold off anymore, as if you just do a huge quick taper, your body will still be in shock from lack of opiates when you jump off, and you'll be in hell. try taking the smallest amount of sub possible too, when you cant hold off anymore. Don't even take enough to get you well, just enough to make life bearable for another few hours.

If i were you i would start at 4mgs subutex then go to 2 or even 3mgs you could go down by 1mg. This way you can draw it out more and do it right. Something like

4mgs
4mgs
3mgs
2mgs
1mg
0.5mgs
0.5mgs
0.25mgs
Skip one day
Then 0.25 again

You should have more than enough to do this exact taper which would make things easier then what you wanted to do then after the sub taper you can use the other meds as needed to control symtoms but after a taper like the one i showed you i doubt you will even have withdrawals where you feel the need to medicate.

HI, and thank you two.
The thing is that i will start taking naltrexone next week, so i can't be on subutex so long. I'm thinking in using it the first 2 or 3 days, because i don't have enough clonidine for the detox, cause i would prefere not to take any opiate or bupe.
So i was wandering, maybe 8mg is to much to take the first day. Maybe i will try just taking 4 mg, the first and second day, and then start with the clonidine.
The problem here, is that i will take naltrexone, or else i would do the tapper trainspotter said, but then i would have to wait too long to start with the antagonist.
Do someone know if a negative urine result of opiates, is always safe to start with the antagonist even if we had subutex days before? for example, 7 days of detox, and in the 2 first days i hadd subutex, the urine comes negative.. if subutex would be a problem it would come positive for opiates, right? My doctor said yes, but he also said that i can do the naltrexone 48 hours after the last dose of heroin, and that i don't believe, so i don't trust him...

Make sure you give it a week after your last heroin dose or 10 days after the bupe. I went into precipitated withdrawals 6 days after my last sub dose, and had only taken a total of 4mg over 3 days and before that I was only taking a max dose of 60mg of oxy with half the days off and half on so it wasn't that much. I've known other people that went into PWDs a week after stopping subs and if you do some research you will see that it's not uncommon for that to happen.

You are going to have to kick opiated for a week or so either way, so figure it out based on that. Naltrexone doesn't help with physical withdrawals so it's not like you should be in a rush to start it.
