yeah but i want that respect, a fanbase, but all i get is hate, that's what's throwing me off the whole shit
 
Damn! You have a really amazing voice/ sound. :)
... thing is you seem to have a lot of soul in it- this can propel you forward-
sometimes being stifled by the negativity can help your creativity, maybe you should concentrate on working with yourself and evolving that way?
Don't give up on what you love mate, dont let any of the criticism put an insurmountable block there, overcome it- millions of great artists have used criticism to fuel their creative fires.

i'm even writing a song write now, just to piss the haters off
this is what i do, this is MY therapy, not their therapy, so i'm gonna keep doing what i'm doing, thank you all
but still missing that fanbase thing and respect but i guess it'll come within time
 
all that stuff comes in time , dont put urself down because u havent reached ur dream yet , having that many videos on youtube is a great start ... i write raps in a book , and they stay there , got like 5 songs recorded and theyre probably staying there too .

dont let those motherfuckers get to u , also make sure that ur realising the difference between hate/constructive criticism , because those people are trying to help , but in such a negative mind set u might not be able to take the information in . all the best .
 
Hey Ven-I as well like your music, your voice*-just because YouTube can sometimes be a rough starting point, doesn't mean any other opportunity that might arise will be the same. You keep working hard, and when you least expect it, you may end up on the brighter side of things. Don't give up; don't give in.<3

i'm working on 2 songs to piss off the haters and yeah, so i'll post the links on this forum for you all to hear when they're up on youtube
 
Wow! That was great! Your voice is amazing and you have a way with lyrics. I am going to give you just one piece of advice to put all that talent and passion on a different track: quit paying any attention to the lack of "fans". Just find venues to get yourself out there; slowly you will build your name. You have to be strong for so many things in life, but being strong for your art is a life-saver.<3

....music genres aside(and the 'god' thing isnt religious in this instance btw- just to clear that up), it seems that this is where your coming from. Grow, develop, learn...hone your talent, keep yourself open to creative change and influence; with the knowledge that its coming from your thoughts, guts and heart. ;)


*also, as far as rap is concerned; keep yourself ahead of things in terms of language to express yourself. It is poetry- keep that budding mind of yours open to learning as much vocabulary as you can- slang and formal- the route to self expression, the means, is something to busy yourself with and arm yourself with. ;)

I don't think it's possible for the entire global population to be a fan of any one person, band, idea, etc. - there will always be people who hate us for whatever reason.

Don't let that prevent you from promoting your work, that is how you'll get you fan base to grow. :)
 
Everyone gets haters hating on them! Especially people who are good! The more people who like you the more are gonna hate on you out of jealousy or their own insecurities. Ignore them. Your song was good :-)
 
Sounds pretty damn good. I couldn't do anything nearly as good as that or your other songs (went and listened to a few and still goin :)) You can't please everybody and unfortunately on youtube most people expect to hear the same shit they hear on their radios everyday stuff that many artists have other people write for them then people to "tune" their tracks and in the end sounds nothing like them....I prefer raw talent personally and songs with heart and soul in em. Keep it up dude ya never know where it may lead you....could be lookin back one day thinking....damn I nearly gave up to!!
