Hi there! Long time lurker, first time poster, etc, etc.

Anyway, I recently stumbled upon a bottle of Lannett: Oral Morphine Solution.

I've done some research on my own (there is surprisingly little info about this preparation online), and I am feeling somewhat comfortable banging this stuff, but before I do, I wanted to get some input from others who may have some experience with this preparation, or opinions, and information about the inactive ingredients.

Inactive ingredients: anhydrous citric acid,
edetate disodium dihydrate, glycerin, methylparaben,
propylparaben, sodium benzoate,
sorbitol and purified water.

Note that this preparation contains no dyes or flavorings like many other oral Morphine preparations, aside from Sorbitol.

Anhydrous citric acid: A preservative found in many IV, and oral medications
Edetate disodium dihydrate: The active ingredient in Endrate, used in chelation therapy to remove heavy metals from the blood.
Glycerin: Present in Procalamine, an drug used to control protein balance.
Methylparaben: An antimicrobial agent used in many drugs, including IV preparations
Propylparaben: Present in Dexmethasone, I believe this is also an antimicrobial agent.mmPlease correct me if I am wrong
Sodium Benzoate: Present in Ammonul, a drug used to help patients dispose of excess Nitrogen in the blood
Sorbitol: A sugar, which can be given IV to effect plasma insulin and glucose levels.
Purified water: It's water!

I'm well aware of the fact that oral preparations should not be injected, so there is no need to point that out, but any advice, information, or corrections of the above information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Changed 500mg/5ml in title to 100mg/5ml as that is what it says on the bottle.

Please dont IV oral solutions. I mean think how unsterile that is. :|.

AT LEAST micron filter if you do.

I have some of this right now and I had been wandering the safest way to to this myself. I found a few other posts that said to boil it, but water does not become sterile until boiled for 20 minutes and there is no way you can keep the solution at exactly 220 degrees at all times while boiling, so chances are the active ingredient will get ruined. I am probably going to use saline (sterilized salt water[you can get bottles of saline from a pharmacy]) and add just enough to a 30mg dose to draw up 50 units. I was on a bad hydromorphone banging kick for a long time, my guy ran out, but in the meantime came across a few bottles of hydrocodone oral solution, and I, which I found out how bad it is to slam hydrocodone in general, was in fact, slamming it. I would put about a 20mg dose worth in my iron, and then I would add enough water for all of it to pull up to 50 units (1/2 cubic centimeters[cc]). And I would loose me illness pretty quickly but no rush to the moon. I am getting ready to try a 30mg dose of the morphine oral solution now. I am going to tell you what I did and if I got that trip to the moon. I have a fairly high tolerance, as I have been breaking down some ABG 60's and taking the whole shebang all at once, which I think, first pull, renders around 50-55mg in the first 50units if my math is correct. Time release morphs should not be broken down for banging unless your know what brand it is. There are different ways to break down each brand, and if not done properly and you have not had the practice, it can damage your heart valves. So I have been banging about 50mg of instant morph 2 times a day.
I am due for my cure at the moment, and have some morphine oral solution I have been dying to try, so as soon as I get done, I will tell you what I did and how the experience went. I know quite a few people around here talk about how unsanitary things are but I doubt EVERYONE who preaches this is sterilizing every step of the way with alcohol and breaking out the nylon gloves. Though I am sure most of them do, and I am one of them. If I am very sensitive to any shoots and I easily have gotten injection site reactions since I was a child. I am not saying to leave sanitary precautions by the wayside however. ALWAYS TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND ALWAYS STERILIZE, STERILIZE, STERILIZE, and ALWAYS use UNIVERSAL PRECAUTIONS!!!!!! I would suggest Googling Universal Precautions. Rules of thumb. Always wash your hands. Always use nylon gloves if available. Buy micron filters online (A one time use Visa gift card goes a long way on the internet.) Use a brand new rig every time! NEVER RE-USE A HYPODERM. NEEDL. Never use sink or bottled water, always sterilized water or at least distilled water and if the containers have been open quite a few times or left open, use a new container of water. Alcohol pads are your best friends, use them to clean surfaces your dose is coming into contact with, your point of entry where you are slamming, the needle and your cooking iron. Never dry with towel or napkin after using alcohol always let air dry. And above all, never lick any part of your preparations, especially the business end of your rig. Saliva belongs in your mouth and on your girls no no parts, not in your blood stream!
I do not advise doing what I am getting ready to do at all, and I cannot say that the dose I am getting ready to take will be safe for you because there is a good chance what is good for me will probably be too much for you almost definitely, but I have already stated how I am going to prep, and I will tell you my experience, but it is never a good idea to bang anything that has not already been put in you by a doctor. Anyone who preps pharmaceuticals into home brew shoots are brave souls because too much can go wrong when tampering with your lifeline in such a way. And above all, stay in school kids. And D.A.R.E. because, "Uh, Drugs are baaad. M'Kay." -Mr. Mackey.
I know this post has been all over the place, but I am trying to make it a little hard to read, mums the word around here, that is one thing I have noticed for sure! I will report back to you in about an hour or sooner.
