I am prescribed 50mg of lamotrigine to take every morning, and am aware that when i take other substances the euphoria is diminished. I am wondering whether it is safe to miss a dose when i am taking something else? or do as I do anyway and take it in the morning so that in the the evening it has diminished effects?

This isn't for bipolar or anything like that.
I am aware that it needs to be tapered ,but would missing one dose have any affect on euphoria that would be produced by other chemicals.

Or should I just accept that this is how its going to be?:(
 
If you are taking the lamotrigine for epilepsy (since it's not for bipolar), I think you should just accept how it is... missing a dose is not a good idea because it will decrease the blood levels and increase the reisk of seizures. Lamotrigine has a 24-36h half life so it would take several days to totally clear out.
