Kynoselen.. what size needles to use?

I was thinking about 1-2" needle //22-20 gauge.
This is a vet drug used for cutting. intramuscularly <SP>.. thanks for anyone who has knowledge

You can use a 1.5" 23g needle in your glute without any problem. Just be sure to aspirate to check that you aren't hitting a blood vessle.
You may want to use 1" if you using deltoid sites.

I talked with a guy today that did it in his abs//well gut hahah.. into fat.. I told him it should beinto muscle.. and he kept going back and forth with me..
he said its not good to do into your glute b/c of the pain.. you wouldnt beable to sit down..
also, would you say 2cc EOD is a good dose? Thanks

If he put it in his fat, then he took it subcutaneously, which absorbs slower than IM, but faster than orally. I am ignorant of the drug you are talking about, so I don't know whether this is a bad thing or not... Also, about IMs being painful, it depends a lot on the medication being injected. Something like sterile saline won't even be noticed 20 minutes after the injection, but some medications can cause soreness for a day or two.
