I am trying to quit opiates once again. Ive kinda gone all over the place with them the last few years, Right now its just Poppy tea. Im planning to quit again soon. Im soo SICK of being a battery operated slave lol. Im sick of too many things. I know quitting again is gonna be tough tough shit...everything in my life is pretty upside down and honestly heartbreaking as it is at the moment...but I want to actually LIVE for real. Emotionally mentally physically and ethereally...last time i quit I decided to get better I had to get better in those ways...to come to some sort of flow again. This time Im strongly considering kratom...I know it is opiate like effects..but not actually an opiate. Ive read about the effects and strains ect...I think it could be helpfull for a while. But the thing I am worried about is I get HORRIBLE paws...Im wondering what kind of effect kratom would have on it...anyone have any experience?

Stepping down the opiate ladder can be helpful. Pods are a nasty WD. Kratom could be helpful. Buy bulk and only use powdered leaf..no extract. Then you can taper off the Kratom.
Good luck..

If you feel like it please share the PAWS symptoms that you have trouble with and people may be able to point out successful techniques to combat them. PAWS are rarely permanent and get a little better every day until they are gone. We just need to develop a plan to combat them and make our lives as peaceful as possible until they pass.

Kratom is a great way to step off of an opiate addiction. However, Kratom can be just as dependency forming as pods or any other opiate. PAWS can be put off with Kratom, but eventually you will have to deal with not using and wanting to use at some point in your detox. Most people say the sooner you do it the better. But YMMV.
