I was taking Kratom on and off for nearly a year and found white too stimulating. Not a fun kind of stimulating like coke/amphetamines, but it made my heart rate and BP rise drastically at times to the point where I'd drop to the floor, unable to breath or catch my breath thinking I was having a heart attack. I don't believe the Kratom itself is to blame, more so my excessive drinking/smoking and frequent coke/amphetamine use at that point in time just took it's toll on my heart and it couldn't handle yet another substance doing a dance on it. I never really did much of it either, 2-4g in a single morning dose typically, very rarely another 1-2g at night. I've always heard the less Kratom, the more stimulating and while I did use it somewhat as an opioid replacement, I did so after I was already clean for a while and was more interested in the stimulating effects to help minimize my use of real stimulants.
I'm sure my experience was an extreme one that's hardly if ever replicated, but on a forum full of people who could share the same tastes and habits in drugs as I do, in the name of harm reduction figured it would be worth mentioning.
I stopped using Kratom for a bit after my buddy Chuck(RIP) suggested that my stim binge followed by a kratom habit might be causing some of the issues, and the problem stopped with the use of it. I read up more on Kratom, and a while later decided to try Red Vein with caution cause I needed something other than alcohol and I never had an issue like that again. Slightly convinced that while it felt like I was going to die every time, the white Kratom likely saved me from having an actual heart attack because I used it in place of the real cardiotoxic drugs I'd been doing for months prior.
