Kratom

Thanks, sonic. It seems to work well for some people on its own. Maybe I'm just not one of them. :(
 
Update: 3.5 g + 1 beer + 1 big hit of vaporized weed and it's working really, really well now. But I ate a big dinner 30 minutes after taking it, and it took 3 hours to come on. Regardless, I like the feeling a lot. :)
 
Has anyone experienced closed eye visuals on Kratom? I experinced some last night when trying to go to sleep a couple hours after taking kratom, it was kind scary and unexpected at first. i just saw faces and a classroom full of kids, it went from faint black and white to almost full color. pretty crazy
 
I have to say that after trying many, many different extracts and kratom whole leafs that kratom has become my personal favorite opioid. The only thing that I have enjoyed more is fentanyl which shouldn't really be used regularly for obvious reasons. If you want kratom that works GREAT... the extract that made me truly fall in love with it.... Google the 250x extract. There is only one online vendor that sells it, but it is definitely worth it. This stuff only takes a tiny bit either you can just throw it in your mouth or you can put a tiny bit of the powder inside gel-caps. I definitely recommend trying this stuff....
 
I might try that... as I mentioned in a few other threads, last night was my first Kratom experience... I ate half the packet of and ounce of premium kratom leaf (from what I think is a reputable source) and got nothing out of it... maybe a very mild sedation.

Tonight I'm going to try the "private reserve" stuff that they say is 3 times stronger... if THAT doesn't work... I'll give one more try to the "really strong" stuff.

I have used plain leaves from Bali and I had a great experience. It has that opiate feel to it yet it is more stimulating IMO, it's legal as well in my country which is great. :D

Now I have a few questions regarding Kratom, I can get various forms of the herb but don't know which one to choose...

My options:
  • Kratom leaves (shredded or powder) - Bali, Malaysia and Thai kind
  • Kratom standardized extract 15x, very expensive
  • Kratom Thai extract 5x, same as above. Very expensive
  • Kratom resin extract from Bali leaves, pretty cheap

I usually order plain leaves and make tea, but that seems to be an inefficient method since I need a lot of leaf. I was wondering if anyone knows something about the resin extract or if the leaves/powder can be put into 00 sized capsules. IMHO Kratom is a great opiate substitute and definatly worth a try. :)

I take the Bali for a more sedating feeling & the Maeng Da for super energy but I don't make a tea. I just put a steaspoon of the powder in my mouth followed by a gulp of coffee. I've been using it for almost a year with no nausea or tolerance build up.
 
If I say it 1000 times I have not said it enough. Kratom is not an opiaoid, it is an Analgesic Indole, although one extremely minor constituent IS opioid, 7-Hydroxy-mitrgynine. Sadly, it is only ever less than half of one percent in total alkaloidal content.

As for the geographical labels like "Indonesian," "Bali," Thai," etc...it is ALL nonsense. Even on the same tree a leaf will have highly varying akaloidal content so attaching a name to it is not making any kind of difference, even if it were soemhow accurate and I am here to say it is not. ALL Kratom is being grown in one of two places on Earth, unless you are in the region yourself and picking it.
