My desired method is a moderate taper using my gabapentin freely to control withdrawal. I was wondering if there have ever been any contraindications of using low (50mg) doses of dxm with gabapentin. The tiny dose of dxm seems to reset my tolerance a tiny bit as I have done this before. Also, are there any tips for combating the eventual depression of coming off of kratom. I'm hoping I'm asking the right questions, believe me I've tried the search engine and have come up with only similar experiences. I'm beginning the moderate taper today by cutting my dose by 1/3 and spacing the doses.

Start a running habbit will help effectively with Kratom. It does hurt extra in the beginning, but you won't get RLS or depressed. Don't worry to much, the withdrawal will be tolerable, kratom is not to horrible. I used 50 gram's a day for a year and then had to abruptly stop. (Because I needed my money elsewhere) The anxiety will not be to bad, the only thing what was bad was the restless legs, which will go away with sporting.

I don't know about the gabapentin and DXM, maybe you should dump those and get some time off from your obligations.

Gaba and DXM seem totally fine to use in my opinion, I have used both while kicked much harder opiates in the past. (the DXM was just in nighttime cold meds i would take for sleep)

Though I'm not a doctor, I am not aware of any contraindications between them especially if the DXM is a low dose.

As mentioned above however, running/working out will be the absolute biggest savior for you, along with eating healthy. You'll be amazed how much it helps, I can almost promise you that. Good luck with everything! You can do this, and in retrospect you'll probably realize it wasn't THAT bad after all.
