Opioids Kratom: Does it cause anyone else to get an erection?

Yeah quite a few people who have just injected an opioid experience an erection come on, myself included. Its not your usual hard on either if ya know whaddi mean.

Everytime I used Maeng Da I would have an irresistible urge to bust it. So yes, it had the same effect for me.

Yes. Perfectly normal (its an opiate thing, low BP or vasodiliation i think) and annoying as hell because it doesnt come with any interest in making use of it.

Not really on o-DSMT, that is a real one right, at a sort of equal- ish dose ED [ It s full vs partial]. Frustrating side effect [worst one Levetiracetam imo]

Kratom doesn t have that effect ever. It work s somehow at maintaining a firmness under a lot of condition s down there . Ime

Opioids cause erections. Through blood vessel dilation & because they affect a nerve that controls erections.
I can't remember the exact mechanism but I do remember reading about it. Googling "How do opioids cause erections" now only brings up "erectile dysfunction" and opioid fear-mongering, so I can't find the info that I once read.


Tramadol, heroin, hydrocodone & buprenorphine do this to me all the time. I'll be under the acute effects & get a raging hard-on, although the feeling of being "horny" is never really present.


So "God" put us in a world where the horny drugs (stimulants) make it harder to achieve erections & the sex-drive killing drugs (opiates) give you raging boners, except you don't feel like using them for anything. Very cruel stuff.

Mixed two thing s up ED and inability to. Kratom had no influence maybe aided. o-DSMT inabled the finish. Levetiractam was straight out ED, without taking away the need unlike i assume most Opiod s excepting Kratom.

Kratom always gets me bricked up like a fucking stonemason, I used to pop capsules of kratom then just tuck it in my waistband because I knew what was coming. It made going to the skatepark or beach on kratom challenging sometimes.
