Well I am 45 days clean of a year long Heroin stint & the PAWS is pretty horrible (severe depression / cravings etc). I took some Kratom yesterday to help with the symptoms which I will not be doing again, only had one dose. What I am wondering is will that single dose of kratom restart my PAWS from the beginning and ruin the progress I have made? or affect my recovery time? Or did it just help with the symptoms and continue me where I was at with the PAWS? I would just feel horrible if I messed up my recovery by taking kratom once. To be honest taking L-Tyrosine & Bee pollen helped just as much as the kratom.

In my opinion i dont think you set yourself back much other then you might have stronger cravings since you kinda woke up the beast abit by introducing any opiate into your body
Im sure you will be ok and not spoil your 45 days congrats on that!

Well from my knowledge Kratom is not a Opiate, just works on the same receptors. I just want the PAWS to be over as soon as possible and wanna know if I set back or extended the amount of time the PAWS will take to subside by taking the Kratom once..
