I stumbled on this article unintentionally while I was looking up an article on valdetamide in the same issue:

It is from 1929 (2009 is the date online).

Is it true that cocaine makes a man into a homosexual? This is the first time that i read about it.

I haven't read the article. Remember it was published in the twenties in Berlin. The date I find is 1925. Views on homosexuality were different then although for some at least Berlin was an island of tolerance.
As Kittycat (KitKat Club?) says no drug makes you gay but many drugs do seem to have a disinhibiting effect. Just think of all those reports of people passing the meth pipe round and suddenly discovering the delights of male to male sex. What drugs often do is help you realize that the inhibitions are artificial.
