Lol, i'd be paranoid about carrying two knives around in my bags or pockets.

it doesnt make you cough up your guts like a vape, but has similar effects. Plus who really wants to fuck around with light bulbs (assuming u mean light bulb vape)... I'm always way too paranoid Im gunna suck up a shard of stray glass or something lol.

Realistically - it would have to be the quickest, makeshift way to smoke pot if you dont have papers or a smoking device.

Maybe its popular in NZ because weed is more expensive there? I heard you guys pay $80 for pillz, so if thats anything to go by...

We keep our in the kitchen all the time though right by the stove.

I new a guy who carried around a camping gas burner, knifes and spottle in his boot:D
He was a south African new immigrant but took too spots like a duck too water!

Yeah we pay $40-60 for pills, but our weed is all domestic and in no way expensive. The $20 bags here are massive compared to what i was getting in Adelaide and Melbourne. It's about AU$180 an ounce, and we have some amazing outdoor that i really missed while overseas

Our outdoor is awesome too, especially the sativa blends.

I got told in Amsterdam that per capita, NZ has the most pot smokers, something like 32% :|. Dunno if that is accurate?

Guess you gotta do something while 'farming' all those sheep... sorry, mandatory ;)
 
Yeah we call that "spotting" over here. Tastes fucking superb and it gets you proper lit off very little bud. It is really big in New Zealand, this maori who used to hang around me and my mates (since disappeared to god knows where) had a portable camping stove in his car for the sole purpose of doing spots on the go LMFAO.
 
Hot kniving fucking rules, you can get sooo ripped from such a small ammount and yea, its really popular, atleast in victoria, b.c, canada
 
hot knives ftw. never done it with weed, but this is the only way to smoke hash.

for those who really want to try something really special:

Take a empty cardboard paper towel roll (like the toilet paper ones but longer). make an x in it with some toothpicks. drop 3-4 ice cubes down there. do hot knives as you normally would. profit.
 
Yeah if your friends saying we get pills for $80 hes getting himself ripped off.

Spots is pretty big over here, everyone I know has knives next to the stove and even knew a guy who had a camping gas lantern that had an open flame running around outside. Could heat the knives up within a few seconds and be set to go, would even light it up shooting down motorway. Crazy guy.

Have heard its barely known about in Australia, alot of people I know having gone over there and introduced it at a party. Gotten alot of people wasted very quickly with the old knives.
 
stick around. I'm full of nice ideas. i used to do blades all the fucking time. unfortunately i have a grown-up job now and can't smoke pot all day anymore.

another cool strategy is cutting the bottom out of a big cardboard coffee cup, and then putting two small holes opposite each other i the bottom. run a rubber band through the holes and you can hook them around your ears for when you want a hot knife funnel when you're flying solo. plus it looks fucking hilarious.
 
Ah hot knives, blades whatever the name it gets you f*cked up :) We have a ceramic cooktop so we use a mini blowtorch.
We only use hash. I wouldn't bother using this method with bud.
