Knivers, anyone?

Anybody know what knivers are? There pretty popular around here, in Everett. There somewhat complicated to explain, but I'll try my best. There's two ways to do it. Basically, you split up a bowl of weed into small little nugs. Meanwhile, waiting for the knives that you have just placed onto a hot stove, to heat up. When the knives are hot and ready, you grab them, gently press the knife on the nug. Bring it u close to your mouth, press the two knives together, and start to suck. The other way, is exactly the same practically. Except, you have a smoking device (and you have someone else serve you). Most people can't serve them selves (which is the method I just explained earlier)

I'd rather smoke out of my bong, but knivers are always something fun to do when your tired of the pipe or bong. I use to do it when I had no pipes or a bong, when I was reduced to smoking out of fucking pop cans. Terrible. There not all that popular, and most people tend not to know what they are. There are tons of videos on Youtube that explain how to do it, for anyone interested in it.

Yeah, it's the smoking device -- I didn't feel like mentioning it. I usually serve to myself, because it's easier to do. I'm more use to the straight smoke now. I did have a cool bong thing that I used.

this just seems like a lot of extra work for the same effect you would get from just packing a bowl and smoking it..

Any reason you seem to get higher or is it just something to do if your bored?

if you don't get the knives too hot it would probably vaporize it decently....

At some headshops you can get the glass vesrion of the hot knife... basically its just a pyrex glass rod. you heat it up with a torch lighter and put it to the bowl to hit it without the taste of butane and to vaporize it...

It's THE most economical way to smoke weed by far. I do it everyday and three small 'spots' this big [] get me blitzed.

We call it 'Spotting' cos there little spots of weed. The cut bottle we suck it up is called the 'Spottle'.

Lol Who hits hot knives with nug?? Goof balls. yeah their fun but bot the most effective & conservative way if you ask me. Much better off with a toothpick a ledge, a lighter & tube.

When those knifes are red hot and you sandwich the 'spot' between the knifes the smoke wisps up instantly in one thick plume.

You catch it in the cut bottle and inhale, there's just NO wastage of smoke all goes into the bottle, very efficient when done right.

It's what all the poor teenage stoners do down here because it's so cost effective.

^^ Lol, I always see people getting busted 'spotting' in that cheesy police force New Zealand show they ram on Australian TV late at night.

I haven't tried it.. about to go give it a go with some rank old resin.

The verdict - it works..Its ghetto as, but it works. I only had some shitty resin from bush (mids), so am only a little baked.

Sucks that I blacked out 2 knives (I have a gas stove)... so be prepared to throw ur knives when done.

Yeah that was Police 10/7 it was a hilarious show, actually like it more than cops.

Those Knifes you blackened are now your very own 'spotting knives', keep them for that purpose, don't throw them out! you lucky boy!

So you had the bottle cut in half hanging in your mouth and everything?

It's really a two man operation, one person the 'driver' works the knifes then the other holds the ' spottle' and sucks up the smoke, then reverse rolls.

Used a bottle half, but I only really took the first rip from the initial spot.. figured at that heat it would vaporise all the thc out and id be sucking up gross resin carcinogens.. im a bit stoned so it must've worked

It does conserve weed, I can get pretty high of three knivers, which is barely half a bowl. I like to use it when I'm short on weed, and need to conserve for awhile.

Heh, it's an interesting method for sure.
I use a clean cut 2L Coke bottle top. Never really thought / manned up to not use a tool to capture it, and to hit straight to the face.
Much / harsher i assume?
I've heard it's real big in the NZ?

It is harsher, but you get use to it after awhile. I don't recommend it if you think the regular way is to harsh. I didn't have to much of a hard time getting use to it, but I'm pretty sure its different for different people.
