This might seem like a bit of a rediculous question to some of you; However, I am just trying to be as safe as possible!

I've been an almost-daily opiate user for the past 6 months. Never going above 40mg per day of Oxycodone. I would have sporadic 2 week breaks here and there, although recently I have not had a break. I have been tapering down though.

Today I did a bit of Roxicodone (intranasally and orally.) I would say 10mg intranasally around 8-9 hours ago, and 10mg orally 6 hours ago. It's pretty unusual for me to get a panic attack while coming down but I did today.

I wanted to take 1mg of clonazepam to help with the anxiety but I have always heard that this is a dangerous combination.

Input?

Thanks!

By 8-9 hours the duration of action is certainly over for the oxycodone, there would be no problem in taking the clonazepam then. Having said that, clonazepam has a long half life and may very easily run into dose of oxycodone the next day. So keep your clonazepam dosage as it is and try to widen the gap between your oxycodone dosage and clonazepam dosage so it's least likely to pose a threat.

Not sure how safe you'll be "next time" if you know it caused you to have a panic attack, last time...using combinations to cover up - lessen the comedown - catch a better nod, or for whatever is a bad idea in the long run.
