I'm making due with what I've got. I took 5.5 mg of Klonopin last night, and I'm still feeling it a little.

I just drank 98mg of codiene, which only gives me a very slight buzz. I have about six 650/100mg Darvocet. I also have no tolerance for opiates/painkillers. However, I think my body metabolizes medication differently because no matter what drug I do, even if I rarely ever do them, it takes a lot for me to get any kind of high out of them.

My question: How many Darvocets should I take in your opinion? Will they potentiate each other at all?

Yes, I am aware of all the APAP and it's dangers.

We do not allow basic combination questions like this in OD.

Dude, leave the Darv's alone. This will be more dangerous than the apap.

The Darv's are known to cause cardiac failure in people who choose to abuse.
It's not because of the opiate effects, it's because it has local anesthetic properties. It interferes with nerve signaling in high doses.

Yeah, for real, Darvocet is crap for recreation. Just drink some more codeine. I have a friend with the same type of problem with you, he took 10 Vicodin 5-500s and only got a mild buzz and got tired for 30m. Also, taking one opiate recreationally then another later on in the day reduces the effectiveness of the second dose. Again screw Darvocet I had a whole bottle, took a bunch didn't feel anything and tossed it because nobody wanted it.

Old thread of mine: I still haven't figured out why opiates have no effect on me. I've never heard of this happening to someone like me who has no opiate tolerance, except for the last reply in this thread above this one. I have no opiate tolerance, so my friend suggested an oxy 30. I swallowed it on an empty stomach. Heavy eyelids/slow blinking for less than 5 minutes and then back to normal. I've never IVd anything before, so my friend suggested IVing 20 mgs Dilaudid. Felt a nice slight feeling that was over in under 60 seconds. I discovered that Tramadol gave me the best high I've ever felt. I started at 250mg at a time. I eventually worked my way to almost 700mg in one sitting. This is where I had to draw the line because of seizures. I should have drawn that line way sooner. Trams were the best until my tolerance ruined that for me. Perhaps it's just something about the synthetic aspect that works with my body chemistry better? I've tried every thing I could find to potentiate it, still nothing. Every form of administration, plugging, parachuting, up the nose, in the needle, etc. Is it just my body chemistry?

You just don't care for most opioids it seems. The first handful of times I tried them I would describe the experience as just having felt a bit tired/hazy. Opioids are an acquired taste for most, but I don't recommend trying to acquire said taste.

Everyone's body has a different chemistry. Opiods make me happy they make my husband tired. Davocet has been taken off the market hasn't it? 3 is the most I would ever take at once. It's pretty much just a mild pain killer.

It's not really a matter of caring for them or liking them. I believe I would, if they worked. I'm just wondering why they get everyone else feeling great, while I feel the same. I get no body buzz, no mental buzz, no buzz at all. I just can't figure it out. The way people describe it is like it's the best feeling, etc etc. Is it just me? Does anyone know why I am like this? I mean, is there any known explanation? Not that my only wish is to become an opiate addict, but I'm baffled.
