I read it all and it's a fantastic report. Maybe when your out of primary school you'll be able to read longer things?

I'm off to Thailand for a month in December and very excited. Thanks for the warnings regarding drugs....
 
Great report! Sounds like it was an incredible trip. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I hope to make it to those countries some day, especially nepal. But doubt I will indulge in inebriation quite as much :P

Mad report, I remember that "Bhang Shop" from my last trip to India. I went on a camel safari when I was so baked! I happen to be going again very soon and this was a helpful reference.

I can't help smiling as I read it, as I just spent a pretty crazy week myself in Ko Phangan, Thailand. I smoked myself silly pretty much everday off of VERY good weed, had a great mushrooms trip (its better to get the mushies themselves and eat them rather than the shakes), and found a great MDMA which I took as the sun came up @ the Full Moon Party...Yipee!

Oh, and one other thing...after 4 months in Thailand, I finally found my first bump of K!! You're right, its very hard to find here, but I'm pretty sure its used within the Thai gay scene. Well at least it was a gay Thai person that I did it with, which was chill, tho I don't swing that way.

Oh and India and Nepal are both possible destinations for me next year, so thanks for all the advice!
 
Is pot illegal in india? I thougt it was, but in your report you mention a govterment run ' bhang shop' so it must be legal then?
 
in general, pot or hash (charas) is most definitly illegal, unless your a sadhu. there are some government run bhang and opium shops throughout the country, which aren't really supposed to sell to tourists, but we had no problem at the one we went to, and were in fact incouraged. so funny meeting all these old, devoted indian men claiming that bhang was their lifeforce and all. :)

further north, hemp is like the most common plant growing wild. the roads are lined with plants, and are at times massive fields. we would pick plants just to have as decoration in our hotel room. i can only imagine what it would be like around harvest time. it's so funny to see cops directing traffic in front of huge pot plants, even though harvesting one could theoretically land you in jail. i think alot of it just has to do with that third world mentality of selectivly enforcing laws. but in reality it's likely even more complicated than that.
 
Fuck man, i'm off to India soon, now i'm even more excited! :D

I think i'll be more interetsed in Opium though rather than K!

So say I want to take a backpacking trip to somewhere in Asia, in terms of all around fun...sights/treks/drugs/food/ppl...where is the best? Im sort of leaning towards Thailand because of Ko Phanang (sp? sorry im lazy) and all the awesome treks to be had, but are there places like that all over. So ignorant and i just spent 4 hrs researching this very topic
