SWIM was planning on doing some K this weekend but is a little worried because when SWIM used to do it he was not on any medications like he is now. SWIM takes Advair (fluticasone propianate and salmeterol) which is an inhaled corticosteroid/bronchodialator and Singulair (montelukast) a leukotriene receptor antagonist for asthma daily. SWIM also occasionally uses an albuterol inhalor if having asthma problems. The singulair can be stopped cold turkey, but Advair is not something that should be stopped suddenly. Does anybody know anything about possible ketamine drug interactions and if any of these medications might be an issue? Any info would be greatly appreciated :)

ok, so we know it is you who is taking the drug when you use SWIM and it makes you look a little dumb.
however, other NMDA agonists such as methadone, DXM, nitrous oxide, ect.... should be avoided on ketamine. also, if this is your first time with ketamine, other drugs the depress the CNS system should be avoided

what do they use on this forum then? could've sworn it was this forum i got bitched at for using something other than swim and was told to use swim. but that was a while ago. regardless, its a friend thats doing it for the record.

Bronchodialators shouldn't interact with K, though ketamine may encourage mucus and saliva production, so be careful if you're using huge doses.
