Miscellaneous Ketamine and Dancing

I’d like to discuss ketamine and its use in various dance scenes. I used to think it was garbage for dance and still prefer other substances, mainly MDMA, LSD, Amp, Alcohol, etc.. But K has grown on me in recent years for dancing.

I really enjoy the way I move while on it, in this glitchy somewhat drunkenly falling yet still precise movements. I very much enjoy hitting a silent disco while on it cuz I go off into my own world, the headphones take the dissociation to the next level.

Racemic ketamine is the best, S-K can get too wonky/sedating and R-K is too light. Mixed with MDMA and/or LSD makes for a hell of a night cutting rugs. I usually save it for when I’m already some hours into an event, and my body is sore but I’m not ready to be done.

Curious to hear others opinions on K dancing..

I did ketamine once thinking it was cocaine and from what I remember my idea of dancing was walking up and down along the x axis of the dancefloor

It might be better for dancing in smaller doses

i saw medeski martin and wood and 311 on 350mgs of dxm hbr, smoked a fat joint with two friends during the MMW set and was doing some chilled out dancing to that. every time i took a step it was like i'd step through a different colored portal or nebula looking thing with my eyes closed. one of my only positive dxm trips.... i don't know how similar ket and dxm are other than they are dissociatives. i hear different reviews. i never tried ket... i always thought when people k holed, they were in situations where they'd be lying down or on the couch... probably very dose dependent and then there are also those people that can take drugs that would be debilitating to most people and still do stuff.

Someone told me once that pop and lock style dancing originated from dissociative use - probably PCP originally. I don't know much truth there is to that, but there might be something to it.

Yeah it's for like a real hilarious um dancing style like lol like um lol dancing . ...??????
