Ketamine Addiction

I generally use anywhere from 3 to 6 grams of Ketamine per month, and am fully aware of the problems associated with Ketamine use in memory. But I was wondering if anyone had any information/personal experience with Ketamine addiction/craving once you stop using. I stopped for a week once and didn't really have any "craving" to use other than boredom of being sober. I know there is no physical addiction associated with Ketamine, but what about psychological?
Thanks! <3

Well all addictions are psychological, and physical addiction is usually reserved for drugs like opiates, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, and alcohol. Addiction wouldn't really exist if it wasn't psychological, as it is defined as psychological and/or physical dependence on psychoactive substances.

Years of personal experience suggest that improvement of acetyl-cholinergic activity can mitigate NMDA antagonists' side-effects, such as loss of memory and coordination. If, like myself, you'd simply prefer to continue using them, consider trying to take them with choline (starting out at 250 mg or 500 mg should be fine) and Huperzine A (which ought to be slowly titrated, especially if used with choline, in order to avoid its side-effects, like insomnia and stiff muscles), as well as (if you're serious enough about it) piracetam, because experiments on rodents suggest it can increase the density of acetyl-choline receptors in the frontal cortex (if administered chronically). I'm practically certain that you won't discover significant side-effects of my suggestions; but only you can decide whether experimenting with them is worth your time.

[My personal experience involves averagely using about 9 grams of DXM per month, each month, for about four years, as well as using approximately 100 mg of MXE daily for about a month. I cannot say that I have personal experience with other NMDA antagonists, though.]

I've been on the end of doing 3+ grams a day, had K-pains twice (FUCKING HELL) although thats from doing huge amounts like 3+ grams in a day. I usually go about a week without using, only because i work out of town and i wouldnt dare bring it to where i work for fear of getting fired and ending up with a mark on my work record. But the longest i think ive gone is probably 2 weeks without using. I always think about, especially back to my first time and im always trying to get that same high but it's like running a marathon that'll never end. I always have cravings for it, just because i love the feeling of being dissociated, floating on a cloud. Plus everything goes better with a bump of K (at least to me).

For me, k was extremely psychologically addicting. I was addicted for 8 months and it took another 2 to quit. I think it really depends on the person. Some people have more of an addictive personality than others, and some may find a substance more intriguing than others. All of these things add up and create a unique level of addictive tendency in an individual.
If you're only doing 3-6g's a month, you should be fine, considering that you claim to have never felt any cravings for it before.

If you cannot contribute, just keep quiet. And a lack of empathy will lead you to make mistakes others warned you for that much easier. (In general) :\

You need to slow it down,
I stopped for a week once and didn't really have any "craving" to use other than boredom of being sober.
I think this is one of the biggest reasons why people continuallly use it, which breaks off into subreasons, like,
to escape from the world, or to get that bit further and see more stuff in k land, or just simply habit forming.

Ketamine is a wonderful substance, but, it is very hard to keep a controlled use of it.

make sure you dont have access to more than 1 - 2g a month is all i can say.

Not sure if you use it when you go out, i started to use it at raves at first then i wanted to continue that journey and ended up using it indoors (not that much though) but enough to realise something isnt going right lol. I wouldnt dose higher than 100mg (i didnt want to k hole, just escape from reality a bit, but fuzzy and wonky for a while)
, so when i was doing this every day i was stubborn and woudlnt increase dose and it had less and less effect so now i only use it when i go out (2 times a month)
