So I spend NYE with my daughter and her mum and a few friends. All the kids are between 5 and 8 years old. We lit a few rockets and firecrackers for them, had dinner at a Chinese place and I ended up leaving early, around 9 pm since I was feeling pretty depressed. Not a big deal for my daughter since she's only 5. She slept over at her mum's that night.
So I arrive home, check how much (RS)-Ketamine is left and decide I could do 4 IV shots with 140mg each. The holes were less exciting than I had expected, but they weren't just an empty void either. When the (RS)-Ketamine was all gone I reached for the bag of s isomer I still had. Since the last shot of the racemic k sorta went wrong I decided I would IM the s isomer and loaded 200mg into the syringe. I entered a very meditative state without visiting any colorful places.
When this wore off I was under the assumption to have used up all the ketamine. However, I still had 80mg of DMT fumarate lying around. Since I had IV'ed 40mg of this batch about 2 months back which resulted in underwhelming effects, I had previously decided 80mg should be a breakthrough dose for me. I hadn't had a breakthrough dose of DMT for a long time.
So when I finished dissolving those 80mg into 2.5ml water (1ml would've been more than sufficient), I went back onto my bed and turned on some Dead Can Dance. It was now 11:55pm on NYE 2014.
I expected the effects to need around 10 seconds to come on, but it turned out I was wrong. I had injected roughly 30mg of the DMT fumarate and suddenly observed my arm rapidly pull out the needle and then saw my ellbow extend to put down the syringe. Next thing I knew is that I was slammed onto my back.
I am afraid I'm at a lack of words to explain the actual content of the experience. All I can say is that it was unmatched by all my previous DMT experiences (over 100). In fact it felt like this one was on a whole different level. I could not believe what was happening. However during the experience, but probably only during the tail end, I remained aware of my body and heard every sound around me crystal clear. I could hear each explosion of fireworks and was once again amazed at the synergy between Dead Can Dance and the DMT experience. I also felt my hands rest on my body and knew I was lying in bed. Still this was more intense than anything I ever went through, most definitely a 'breakthrough' dose. Maybe the awareness set in after have the experience had already happened, I have no idea.
Another interesting aspect was the fact that there were no entities present. It seemed more like I was the DMT entity that is creating hyperspace.
During the experience I also experienced a flash of reality. I suddenly found myself in my room, everything looked normal. Then there was a flash to some other realm I've never seen and the next moment I found myself back in the place in hyperspace I had been before the flashes. All 3 flashes must've lasted less than one second added together. This event struck me as a big surprise since I've never experienced anything like it before. Usually my room would not be recognizable anymore. It never matters if I have my eyes open or closed on breakthrough doses, everything looks the same.
When I came back I realized 30 minutes had passed, much longer than my experiences after smoking DMT freebase. I wasn't aware IV DMT lasts this long since I've never read Strassman's article or scitations of it.
The year was 2015 now. I spontaneously threw away all my syringes and micron filters (got em out of the trash this morning though lol) and went into the kitchen. It was there that I said "What in god's name just happened?!". The end.
